#OneThing: Take Action to Support Mental Health

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and the theme for 2025, as established by Mental Health America, is “Turn Awareness into Action.” While strides have been made in recognizing the importance of supporting our mental health, more can and must be done to break down barriers to access and lessen disparities for vulnerable groups. This time is a reminder about how important it is to connect, be there for one another, and reach out for help if you or someone you love is struggling. If life feels extra overwhelming, know that even making time for #onething to support our mental health can make a difference.

To help spread awareness we have created a digital toolkit that includes social media graphics and sample posts in English and Spanish to help promote Youth Mental Health Resources from the CYBHI including accessible, evidence-based strategies for managing stress.

In addition, we encourage you to explore the following resources and tools to support the well-being of young people and those who care for them.
