The Youth Suicide Reporting and Crisis Response Pilot Program is developing and testing models for rapidly reporting and comprehensively responding to youth suicides and suicide attempts at the county level by providing crisis services and follow-up supports within school and community settings.

All 10 county implementation plans have been reviewed and approved, and counties have begun conducting activities.

The Center for Applied Research Solutions (CARS) was chosen to provide in-depth training and technical assistance to the pilot program counties.
Began hosting weekly topical webinars and Communities of Practice sessions in November 2023 to provide an overview of the components of crisis response and reporting systems and to build an understanding of principles needed to identify and map strengths, gaps and needs in local crisis response systems at the local county level.
