The CYBHI Chartbook provides an overview of trends across the past decade regarding the behavioral health of children and youth in California. Developed by Mathematica, CYBHI’s evaluation partner, the findings represent the quantitative measures the Initiative is seeking to positively impact. Data is organized into three categories: (i) behavioral health and well-being, (ii) access to and experience with services, and (iii) system-level support and collaboration. Data comes from existing cited sources (e.g., the California Health Interview Survey) and is disaggregated (e.g., by age, gender, sexual orientation, race/ethnicity, geography) wherever appropriate and possible. Through the 20+ workstreams comprising CYBHI, work is underway to address issues.
